You pulled in behind me, apparently read my PGR bumper sticker and then switched lanes. You then sped up and pulled over the red Kia Soul that was ahead of me.

PGR Patriot Guard Riders, right?

Is American patriotism really behind justice as a team sport?

When did it become a good thing to applaud using the sworn power of force of the state to give a pass to those who wear the team colors differentially against those who don't? When did due process start meaning look for the Patrolmen's Benevolent Association card or an indication that a relative is "on the job" because THAT is what should make the difference in how the law is enforced?

This is part of the filthy side of government, the corruption which seems to always show up at some level or another. Not something I'm applauding.

On the other hand, maybe the cop pulled over the Kia because it was going faster than you, or the way he cut in front of you looked more deserving of a ticket. In that case, bully on a nice ride not tickedted!
