You said you are 64 years old. How much longer do you need to work?

My work gives me a reason to put my feet on the floor, every morning, so until I die, or can't do the work any longer. I am reasonably accomplished in my work, and have garnered the respect of well over a dozen direct writing Insurers and Managing General Agencies. My Dad worked until he was 78, and died 3 years later.

My 2-year older Sister, an RN, retired last year... for 2 weeks, before going back to work.

There are a lot of things I would rather do than work, like visiting with my Sisters and Brother, fishing with my, now, 71-year-old BIL, like we use to when my Dad was alive.

I got to spend a little time with my 9-year older Brother and SIL, over diner, after attending the funeral of our Cousin's Husband. The line at the "wake" stretched pretty long, about 50 or 60 yards outside of the church. A family friend let me "cut in line" and, when I got inside the church, my cousin's sisters took me to my Aunt and the rest of the Family, and then to the front of the line to hug my Cousin and pay my respects to her Husband - A claw-hammer was placed in his hand in the casket, as building homes was his trade in life - He and his son built several hundred. The occasion wasn't a pleasant one, but visiting and dining with my Brother and SIL was, plus I got to see and talk with some of my Family that I haven't seen for decades.
