You're in an enviable situation -- with US assets and out-of-country income, you're essentially a one-man hedge fund who is well-positioned to weather anything less than total global meltdown. Getting out of the US at the lowest point its been at in a while just increases your exposure to your local economy, which is not necessary -- after all, you presumably can meet your current local expenses with your current local income.I'm in Japan and buy a little bit of America every month. Lately, they've been fractionally bigger bits. Great news for me.
