I know you tend to lean more towards value for your picks but I think ZIP makes a compelling case due to decreased cars on the road. As more people "share" a car, especially in dense urban areas, there is less need for each person to own a car. Less cars = less emissions and dependance on fossil fuels. While it is not a cure all for the problems facing urban areas such as NY or LA, it is a step in the right direction. And maybe eventually it will help move us away from the 1 person - 1 car model we have today. Just some thoughts.
