- About that proposal. I was convinced that they were already engaged. I seriously thought he proposed to her last year. Is that because I'm crazy? Or did an announcer or TV commentator opine that it looked like he was doing so last year when he actually wasn't? Why was I mistaken about this?

- I think Kimmie needs to just get away from the hype and the people saying "but she used to be so good" in disappointed voices. Leave her alone to regroup media-people!

- I much prefer Evan as well. Johnny's completely unnecessary negative comments on Evan's personality that he shared with the press were crass. Though I still think Johnny is an accomplished skater, I now find it hard to enjoy watching him. Evan, on the other hand, though not pretending to like Johnny, at least either comes up with positive things to say (like 'it's harder than I thought it would be to defend a title and Johhny did it twice') or keeps his mouth shut. It's the same sort of grace that Tanith and Ben had around the whole citizenship thing before the last Olympics. That is another pairing (Tanith and Evan) that I hope works out well. Simply because both seem like such great people.
