After reading the following linked article setting forth the myths, practical vulnerabilities, and massive energy demands of blockchain technology, I have tentatively decided that the technology is not practical for ordinary financial transactions and is not good for the environment based solely upon the length of time it takes for processing and the raw demand for electric power that bitcoin servers require.

I'm no longer using Kaspersky products, but the Kaspersky Anti-Malware Technology Expert who wrote the above essay clearly knows what he is talking about.

Worth reading before committing cash to cryptocurrencies if you're fooled by their mystique and sheer speculative appeal.
