I doubt it. I have no idea if evolution was taught or not in my HS biology class. I certainly knew what the concept meant, in broad strokes, but don't remember where I learned it.

If it makes you guys feel better about the American educations system, all my kids science classes have covered evolution, starting in middle school, again in HS, and now one at least is taking it in college.

What irks me is that my youngest (14) just told me he's a young-earth creationist, apparently because that's what he's getting in the youth group at church. On the other hand, it's cool that he's taking his own stance, not afraid to question what I believe.
