1st of all u agreed insurance is not investment? Then what is it?

* Apparently you're not reading the books you've suggested. I took a look at "Dictionary of Finance and Investment Terms" by John Downes and Jordan Elliot Goodman and found their definition relitively accurate (though a little narrow). Also, there was NO definition for "Surrender Charge".

Oh yes I did, this is my point why doesn't it appeared in: "Dictionary of Finance and Investment Terms"? It does however, shows up in: "Dictionary of Insurance Terms" author: Harvey W. Rubin Pub: BARRON'S BUSINESS
GUIDES..2nd Edition

Another good book: "FUNDEMENTALS OF RISK AND INSURANCE"
Author: Emmett J. Vaughan & Therese M. Vaughan
