Excuse me if this is posted twice by error.

I have a regular job where a 401k was started in 2000. I contributed the 10500 max that I could.

I have a small home based business where I set up a simple ira in 1999. Can I contribute to the simple IRA this year re:year 2000,(I think I have till April 15 to contribute my $6000 max) even if I contribute to a 401k at my regular job for the year 2000.

Thanks for the advice

Ben
