My dad works at a car-dealership and as of this week, he had to withdraw his 401k. The new owner of the dealership doesn't offer a 401k plan. What can he do with this money? Can he put it into a IRA/Roth, Mutual Funds or continue in a 401k plan even though his new employer doesn't offer it? This was his only plan for retirement (he will retire in about 15 years).

I appreciate any help with this. We don't know where to start, or where to go with this matter.

Thanks again,
