Hey all,

Something has come up and I need to lend myself money from my Roth temporarily ... <60 days.

While it's not very Foolish, I must do it.

I'd like to clarify the rules of refunding ... which of the two scenarios is correct?

scenario one

1. withdrawal contributions only (I've had the Roth for many years),
2. before the 60 day expiration, deposit funds directly back into same Roth account.

scenario two

1. withdrawal contributions (I've had the Roth for many years),
2. before the 60 day expiration, deposit funds into Traditional IRA,
3. Roll the funds back over to my Roth.

Thanks in advance!
