69% think Congress ought to investigate the origins of the Justice Department's inquiry into Russian interference in the 2016 election, including 76% of Democrats, 69% of independents and 62% of Republicans.

Congress doing an investigation????

I don't think so. We don't need any more preening for the cameras or alternating between sane and deranged questioners or time limits for questions or the need to go into executive session when we get to the juicy parts. Hell, congress doesn't control any swap teams. What if we need a Roger Stone style raid on someone.

I think the DOJ under Barr can and will do a fine job.

Blumenthal: Were there notes taken at your meeting with Mueller?

Barr: Yes.

Blumenthal: Will you provide these notes to this committee?

Barr: No.

Blumenthal: <silence>

bighairymike: Snork!!!
