#1 the money belt. I had one, and used it a lot. It worked well for paper money.

#4 the Sand Auger thing? Perhaps? I dont see me doing that.

#7. The decoy wallet. Some good tips? I've heard this one for decades.

A friend had his decoy wallet with him, and left his regular wallet and most of his valuables in the hotel room safe, put his ID and some cash in the decoy wallet... at this point it was THE wallet. It was pick pocketed.

I'm not sure he got the whole "decoy" concept.

#8 spi-belt. I now use this, in addition to a fanny pack.

Its unobtrusive, fits easily under the waistband of my pants. I keep cash and spare credit cards, CC size ID, in it.

I use the fanny pack as the "decoy". Phone, small cash, etc.

I also keep stuff in three or four different places. If a pickpocket gets one, hopefully she won't get the others?
