Obamacare is falling apart at the seams and it hasn't even started its first year.

LMAO

"Thorp told the Washington Examiner the primary reason that seven-out-of-10 California doctors are boycotting the Obamacare exchange is due to the state’s low Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement rates, which typically land 30 percent below those in other parts of the country.

For example, Medicare typically pays doctors $76 for return-office visits, but in California doctors only receive $24. A tonsillectomy, meanwhile, pays out between $500 and $700, whereas doctors in California receive $160 for the procedure.

And right after the doctors boycott Obamacare exchanges, they're going to go out and apply for food stamps.

They're asking the wrong docs.

They're asking the docs that pick and choose which patients they want to see.

Take the docs who treat the uninsured patients lacking preventive care hospitalized urgently with uncontrolled medical conditions - ask them if they'd rather treat patients with or without insurance coverage.

I'd be checking up on those docs and asking why they are able to treat patients at such low rates. Is that the only place those docs could get a job?

Another way to look at it is why does a liberal state like California treat doctors with such utter contempt? While we have fast-food workers picketing for higher wages, we have California driving down the pay of doctors.

Maybe they want every worker's wage to meet in the middle?

Doesn't work like that.

Lots of solo docs out there, working for themselves, contracting with insurers because they (the docs) are fearful of not having any patients.

So those docs don't want to contract for low rates, but they're fearful to NOT contract.

And they don't want to relocate somewhere else because they need to be near family, certain schools for the kids, etc.

LOL If they are not being reimbursed enough to cover expenses then they are slaves to the system.

And you support Obamacare...what frikking joke!
