Subject:  401k to IRA questions Date:  9/5/1999  1:05 AM

I have an IRA created long ago, before working for
a company with a 401k plan. The IRA has much less
money but is performing better.

Is it possible for me to make any further
tax-deductible contributions to the IRA, while
contributing to a 401k plan?

Is it possible to move some of the funds out of
the 401k plan to the (traditional) IRA fund?

Thanks, David
