Subject: What is "Relative Dividend Yield"?

.....On Bloomberg's web the Fundamentals section of a quote are listed both "dividend yield" and "relative dividend yield".....I don't understand what the "relative dividend yield" is or how it is calculated....

For example, a quote from PG this morning 4/11/00:
Price $64.6875
Quarterly Dividend $0.32
Dividend Yield 1.9246%
Relative Dividend Yield 1.6940%

Can anyone clarify ??? Thanks in advance.

Relative yield, and Relative P/E, are measured against (relative to) others in the same sector. Well, at least that's what they claim!

Nothing to analyze here!
