I recieved $10,000 worth of Microsoft stock about 18 months ago as a gift. I would like to sell the stock without that person knowing I am. But I need to know the cost basis. Is there a way to find that out without going to that person? And what can I expect to pay in capitol gains next year? Thanks, Rick
