Having worked at Nordstrom for over 7 years, I can tell you that the merchandise choices are not the same as just 2 years ago. Everything is geared to the 25-34 set. Since the whole 2/1/00 Reinvent campaign and moving things around in the stores and eliminating departments completely, the same people who we have had shopping for years have been replaced by younger people who have a lot of buying power, but are not the loyal repeat customers of before. I do own some stock, but that is from my Profit Sharing. I wouldn't buy it voluntarily.
