Is there any difference between the benefits (eg. automatic extended warranty, travel insurance, etc) offered by MasterCard and Visa for Platinum cards?

I just found one:

Visa Website: "Simply purchase an item entirely on your covered Visa Platinum card and Visa will double the manufacturer's written U.S. repair warranty up to one year on warranties of three years or less."

MasterCard Website: "Most new products purchased entirely with your Platinum MasterCard card that come with a) an original manufacturer's U.S. warranty, or b) a U.S. store brand warranty (on U.S. store brand items) of one year or less. For qualified purchases, Extended Warranty doubles the warranty time period and duplicates the coverage of either of the above warranties. If, however, either warranty is for more than one year no coverage will apply."

Looks like the Visa built in extended warranty is a better deal since, if you buy a product with a 2 year factory warranty, you get an extra year with Visa, and nothing with MasterCard.

Any others?

ps. Don't forget to save the receipts, credit card statements, and warranty information for items that you buy to get this warranty coverage.
