Investment advice" -stuff like TMF membership, Morningstar subscription, WSJ, etc. -is deductible if you have investments, right?

yes - schedule A - misc deduction, so you receive no benefit unles you itemize your deductions and the total misc expenses exceed 2% of your income




What if your investments are all in 401ks, 403bs, or IRAs? In other words, what if all of your investments are in tax deferred accounts

Still deductible - remember... the 401k will one day be taxable to you!!
