After reading all the posts about the various authors talked about yesterday, I surveyed my science fiction bookcase. My books essentially don't go past the '80s. In fact, I have a lot of early authors such as A.E. Van Vogt, Lin Carter, Asimov (not Foundation) and lots of golden age anthologies. My more recent authors (if you can call them recent) are Alan Dean Foster and Anne McCaffrey (her early novels are terrific). I'm going to have to get with the program. Thuvia |
