I'm wondering if I can set up automatic withdrawls to our IRAs via our ING account. My IRA is with Vanguard, and they'll allow withdrawls form anyone one the ACH (atuomated clearing house), which INg has since they have a routing number. But does ING allow anyone other than the linked banks to withdraw money?

I have looked on the site, and searching this board, but haven't found anything about this yet. A coupe people said they linked their brokerage, but since it's our IRA, there aren't checks with this type of account.

I suspect you could do it. As long as the ACH transaction is originating as a pull from another institution (that has your authorization on file) I don't think ING is going to stop it. It's worth a shot at filling out your Vanguard paperwork just to see what will happen. And I have seen messages from people who've posted they've done ACH "pulls" from ING.
