This sounds like the same kind of approach as for MLNMs proteasome inhibitor.

So is this going to be the way forward for cancer. Combine a bunch of drugs to get cancerous cells primed to be killed off by maybe a less damaging chemo or radiotherapy treatment??

The worry I have though is whether preventing DNA repair for 6 hours wouldn't do more long term harm than good ... you definately would not want to sunbathe after taking this drug!
