Hi Bryan, As I awkwardly and rather crudely tried to explain in Msg #822 that American Pharaoh, the late Richard J Daley, former Mayor of Chicago, developed the multiple vote into an enviable (yet truly corrupt) art form. During Daley's tenure, the dreaded undercount and /or low turnout of the cemetery residents was never to happened again. Never ever! So it with open arms that I welcome you to my crusade of one Fool one Vote. And given the low stock market returns over the past year and MichaelR's frequent allusions to direct bribery; I am patiently waiting for the highest offer on that scarce commodity—my single Feste Award vote. Bidding is open! ~ray |
