it just struck me again today at how powerful personalities often lead to temporary market premiums. recent examples would seem to be jack welch at GE (GE down far more than the market since his departure), and robert rubin and US dollar, particularly dollar/yen. are there others? buffett and greenspin of course come to mind. can this be sharpened?
