I see nothing wrong with an 85% stock / 15% "bond" portfolio for you. Since you have a good reason for going with the guaranteed fixed rate account over bond funds, there is nothing wrong with that at this time. Just make sure you re-evaluate your situation at least once per year and make adjustments as necessary.
