OK so what is the deal with "hemi" engines? Is this secret code for "real fast and cool"?

As Dean said, the original Hemi were Chrysler engines with "hemispherical combustion chambers", or that is, the area above the piston was in the shape of a hemisphere or dome. Not that it made it go faster, but Chrysler put all there beans into making the hemi design a high-performance engine.
