Good for you, checking out the auto show. I always enjoyed it when it came here - and it was nice to be able to see the new cars (and check out the headroom, and look for blind spots, and sit in the back seats of them) w/o dealing with a lot of driving around and a lot of sales pitches. Not to mention the dealers' reaction to the old beater I was driving at the time.

Maybe it's not such a bad thing having to wait for the Prius. In a year or two they may have worked the bugs out of it, and more people may be trained to repair & maintain them. Someone I know rented one for a trip out west & the darn thing kept not starting & generally acted up. It was a big hassle. (I generally like Toyotas, though.)
