Some info (I know some low level insiders)...

Toyota has several hybrid cars coming out. The Prius is out now, RX300 is out soon (maybe now), Highlander is coming soon, Camry will have hybrid option in about 2 years. Rumor is that most vehicles will be offered with hybrid, either as a fuel efficiency option or performance option. I expect hybrids to be the biggest mass market engine upgrade since fuel injection came mainstream (overhead cam was pretty good, too).

Thought I heard Honda's Insight would be discontinued, but Civic hybrid is available now, and Accord hybrid by the end of the year. Acura's supercar HSC has a hybrid drivetrain, too, I think.

P.S. How about the Jeep Rescue?
