"Its very simple. When the movies stop being "Blockbusters", toy sales dry up. Garment makers start putting Nemo on jammies and underwear instead of Spiderman. The franchise ends after two or three movies. No one wants to take a chance on other Marvel characters that aren't so popular and Marvel goes right back to trying make ends meet by selling .25 cent comices for two bucks."

This is getting a little old. If you have something more substantial to say, let's hear it. Right now what you are expressing is more like "Chicken Little" simple-mindedness than a simple concept. If your gut tells you Marvel isn't a good investment, then don't invest. If you can explain why in terms that are more than just silly hyperbolic conjecture, once again, let's hear it. As it stands, the gurglings your gut are not of much public interest.
