Checks that you might need to substatiate a deduction, e.g., charitable contributions. Why am I thinking that a check isn't good enough - you need a receipt from the charity that meets certain specifications ? A few jobs ago, I dealt with fundraising data and it seems like particularly at the end of the year, there were date concerns - check, postmark, receipt. rad |
