The scary thing is that blaming the poor for their own victimization is the mindset of every Bushie on Katrina. To be fair we don't blame the poor for their own victimization, we blame the liberals for making the poor so utterly dependant on the government that they can't do jack to help themselves. The only mistake the poor made was thinking that the government would be able to save them, since they've been promised so year after year despite the fact that this is impossible. Could the government have done more? Sure, they can always do more. However, no matter how far they go for some it will never be enough. It's a dangerous, slippery slope, one that doesn't bode well for a free society. Mike
