1. When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

2. Identifying plants: If you weater it and fertilize it, and it dies, it's a plant. If you pull it out by its roots and chop it into bits, and it lives, it's a weed.
