Part of the definition of IC is the impossibility of functional intermediates. Until a demonstration of that criterium has been met, there is no reason to assume any IC biological system exists.

That is incorrect. You have little interest in understanding this topic. Despite the discussion here, IC/ID is having and impact and has received a lot of attention. It is gaining traction. It is gaining momentum.

I had hoped to find some good discussion on the topic. I see that there is no point in carrying this any further.

Proverbs 4 verse 23 says: Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.

The course of this discussion has been determined this way. There is much at stake within our hearts over this issue. The language of the last few posts has confirmed it.
