Bingocards is apparently very tall, American-born, not of Japanese descent, American citizen, engineer, Catholic, working in Japan for the past few years. He has worked hard to become fluent in Japanese language and culture. Apparently, he is sufficiently fluent that when someone cannot see him, they assume he is Japanese -- and can be quite startled upon actually meeting him in person. Cool. Now I'll have a clearer picture as I read his posts. Thanks! |
