Subject:  happy Easter something wrong with split ratings? Date:  4/22/2011  1:22 PM

Happy Easter, and whatever salutation one is supposed to use on Good Friday.

Is split ratings a sign of a potential problem? I never looked closely, but I thought most debt down around the single A and triple B class has split ratings by a notch or two most of the time. (Granted, if there is a big divergence in ratings, I'd look into why before buy or sell).

Constructive differing opinions are great, but if you just make stuff up as you go along, or get into personal attacks, other stuff loses some of its credibility.

I'd swear that one can read stuff that gets put on various websites and determine when someone is trying to give up tobacco, coffee, or ran out of gin.
