My first concern was stability. With a shifting situation of part-time work, isn't your work more of a "pieces of the puzzle" situation than a full-time job would be? How does that affect the stability of your income?

<Really, the only big negative I can see is that this country has the oddity of people being dependent on their employer for health insurance, and it is harder and more expensive to get it on your own. >

This was my second concern. As the years go on, health insurance becomes more expensive. If you had an interruption of coverage you might become uninsurable if you were to develop a chronic condition.
