When my daughter, Carrie, and I went to Seafood City in St Louis last weekend we crossed a sample table where a lady was making leek, pork and shrimp steam buns and selling some dumpling sauce, free with purchase of 2 12-piece bags of the dumplings. We bought bought 2 bags of the 12-piece dumplings and got the hot version of the sauce. The ingredients state: Soy Sauce, sugar, vinegar, water, glutenous rice salt, garlic juice, sesame oil, salt, chilli oil, soybean oil, chilli extracts. I don't know the brand, as I can't read Chinese.

We prepared 1/2 of a package. They were tasty and pretty simple to cook, so I'm going to do the other 1/2 today. To prepare them, you add 1 1/2 cups of water to 1 1/2 tablespoons of cooking oil, space the dumplings out in a non-stick skillet, cook until the water boils off and then continue to fry in the remaining oil until the bottoms of the dumplings are browned, plate them, split them open with a knife, add some of the dumpling sauce and enjoy - pretty good.

I also pulled a pack of bratwurst in natural casings from the freezer. I'll probably steam those over some beer to thaw them out and then grill them over charcoal with some apple wood chips for a little smoke flavor.

I'm thinking about getting one of these cast iron grates for my 14.5" Smokey Joe to see how I like it:
