Very cool statistical web site with real world data. Web site indicates teachers are using this in class rooms. Very visual approach to data and statistics that makes it jump off the page and grab your attention. If you have not seen it, check it out.

This is just massively cool. Here is the main page of the "Gapminder World called "Wealth and Health of Nations". Interactive chart of wealth and health stats over last couple hundred years. You can drag to a particular year or start at the beginning and "Play" the entire history while the two dimensional circles change in size and move over the chart to show changes over time. You can choose from scores of data sets under multiple categories. Watch the "how to" tutorial.

You get to choose a dataset for the x axis and another for the y axis so you can see how two factors correlate over time. I probably would have even paid attention to a stats class if this was involved.
