A number of the talking heads today are referring to the demonstrations at various Wal Mart stores as a strike. I know the unions would love this to be a strike, but it is not. It is disruption and intimidation.

The claims against WalMart by the Huffington Post,, want to make it seems like WalMart is the worst of the retailers with low pay, hourly workers, etc. However, this is not the case. many, if not most retailers today employ a lot of hourly - part-time workers. As far as salries go, this is just a sample of the averages.

WalMart - $8.82
Target - $8.29
J. C. Penney - $8.31
Gap - $8.61
Victoria's Secret - $8.20
Best Buy - 8.74
Home Depot - $9.00+
Macy's - $8.60

What is at stake is the 1.4 million workers of WalMart that the Left/unions would love to have in their camp.

Let's do a chik-fil-a - shomp at WalMart this holiday week-end.

disclaimer - I actually have nothing to do with WalMart and I avoid it if possible.
