I'm not positive, but, I don't think an IRA can be put into a trust. The IRA has a beneficiary which could be a trust, but, I'm not sure that would be of any benefit. Naming a beneficiary should accomplish the same thing as a trust would accomplish, I believe. What has your attorney recommended?
