These front wheel drive cars with the handbrakes are not true drifters,

To be picky, the Ford in that video isn't your Grandma's Ford. It may have started out life as a front wheel drive, but that one was 4 wheel drive, with enough oomph to get all 4 spinning at the same time.

It's a rally car. There's probably a couple of bolts left from the original car. Everything else is modified in some way.

The driver, Ken Block, happens to be a rally driver who also likes to make videos like that one. (Some may say that's he's much better at the videos than he is at racing. I don't know enough to comment intelligently.)

At any rate, I agree that it's not drifting as practiced by Sterling Moss and his peers. And it's not exactly drifting in the imported-from-Asia sense. It's something uniquely rally car.
