All I read is that Bryan tries to move people away from trying to be perfect and staring too much at the pennies, thereby possibly forgetting the larger picture: Staying disciplined will serve you well, but be careful not to anchor on any price too concretely.

A three-year investment horizon, a valuation model that is necessarily to imprecise to be relevant for the pennies after the decimal point, etc.

Of course, pennies is too absolute (with PACR, for example, it can make a difference). That's why the team has often mentioned plus or minus 3% (?) as a buying range.
