I have never had an employer ask to see my Social Security card, they just asked me for my number. Same here. But when I moved to DC in 1979 they wouldn't issue a driver's license without seeing it. That may have had something to do with the fact that they used the SSN for your license #. I'm pretty sure that's the last time I saw mine. Phil Rule Your Retirement Home Fool |
