American Association of Individual Investors (AAII) put out their mutual fund guide.

There are three funds in the convertible bond category: Fidelity (FCVSX), Vanguard (VCVSX) and Northern Inc Equity (NOIEX)

10-year return 8.0%, each fund is very close.

5-year return 18.2%, 3-year 10.4%. I was surprised at how low the 3-year was at first, but saw the great returns of the last two years wasn't enough to offset 2011. Anyways, I don't look very closely at 3-year results.

Hi yield bond fund category has 6.9% ten-year annualized return, 18 funds in that group.
