Someone attempted a small internet charge to my corporate credit card. The corporate card is only allowed to be used for company travel, and since I haven't traveled for business in several years, it wasn't compromised from a retailer or website.

The CC issuer detected the fraud and shutdown the account. They believed it was a brute force credit card attack testing combinations until they found one that worked.

Watch small charges. They can be a test to verify that the card information is valid.
