I filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy in November of 2005. I recently got copies of my credit reports and the only things on there now are the first and second mortgage for my primary residence and my car loan (4 payments remaining). Most of the other open accounts are in my wife's name.

What is the best way to start to rebuild credit? How many open accounts do creditors like to see? Do I try and get new accounts, or change some of our existing accounts into my wife and my names?
