Hi Caetano08,

I continue to hold my shares and have added on dips over the years. My original cost basis is about $11, though I averaged up over time so that my current basis is something like $18. BOFI is my single largest holding, and I've never sold any shares. The only reason I would sell shares is if I need the money for a major purchase. If I retire, I might lighten my load at some point for the sake of reducing the risk profile of my portfolio. But as of right now, I do not see any company-specific red flags. The growth rate is likely to slow, but that is just the law of numbers: It is a lot harder to double a 10 billion $ company than it is to double a 10 million $ company. Management has shown itself to be adept at capital management, taking great advantage of unusual opportunities and broadening the business line to reduce risk and increase returns.

So, from my perspective, why would you sell?
