Lately I have seen lanterns that have a "flicker" setting to recreate the "charm" of candles. I consider this much like the "Yule Log) television stations on Christmas Day. Howie52 We read by candlelight and lanterns during our 12 hour loss of power. We did not use the flicker mode for the lanterns. But I did try the dim red light for a while - but could not figure out why the mode was there - other than to run down the batteries or have a way to find the thing in the dark. Fireflies generate more light. |
