Since this is my own personality as well -- I'll say that I've been on many sports teams where I struggled to reach out to my teammates -- I do wish I knew better how to do this but from my experience you don't just magically figure it out from being on a team where you don't know anyone :) So I would put him on the team he was already on and then work on him separately with how and why to reach out to others. |
